The show's theme song, "Maybe" was written and sung by Thom Pace. The song was released as a single in Europe, where it hit number one on the charts. It also won a "Golden Europa Award" for "Best Song"
Few recall that Dan Haggerty was an animal trainer before he landed the part of Grizzly Adams.
It's true,Haggerty was an animal trainer and handler credited on several movies to include Lt. Robin Crusoe USN 1966, Monkeys Go Home! 1967 and When Wolves Cry 1970. Due to his experience with handling animals of all kinds, he was well suited for the role of Grizzly Adams.
Where was the Grizzly Adams series shot?
Northern Utah countryside locations. The Production Office was based in Park City, Utah. The production of The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams put Park City on the map in the film industry, and was influential to Robert Redford who established his Sundance Film Festival there after the series ended.

When were the Grizzly Adams shows produced?
The feature, “The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams” based on Charles E. Sellier's 1973 book of the same name, was released by Sunn Classic Pictures in 1974 and ran in movie theaters for two years. The popular television series with the same name aired on NBC from 1977 to 1980, when the movie of the week finale, “The Capture of Grizzly Adams” aired on NBC.
